Day 5: 'Niu' Year

Last night was a hectic day yet fun... i gonna write more later...
The whole night i captured lots of photos of- Acrobatic Lion Dance which is held in TTDI PLAZA for all the outlets which barworks owned. Later on i join the party at my friends place, Catherine... the babe i known for few years back in Uni.

Day 4: 'Niu' Year

It's the last relaxing day as i have to get back to work morro. Didn't manage to visit anyone, just stay at home...chill & relax while trying to come out with more idea/design for Aileen's cafe.

Mean while, get to chat with a friend, Dj Nomsta in msn. I'm trying to download some of his new remixes in facebook. Well, due to some internet connection error...it takes such a long time to download..n at the end, after lag for few times. I decided to download it again today. Can't wait for his next gigs in KL! A deejay who have his own style which is very different from others. http://www.nomsta.com

Late in the evening, Ocean play hide & seek again. He know its the time we gonna place him in the cage before we say goodnight* to the reality world & continue our journey in dreamland. Everyone try to search for him..Calling his name & look underneath & back the sofa, coffee table, low cabinet, piano, dining table etc...

After 15 minutes, my dad found him... Guess where he hide? he is getting smatter..when we call Ocean..usually he will 'miow' but this time when he know we are looking for him..he remains quiet....without making any sound.

He is hiding on the dining chair, underneath the dining table & the best thing is the table cloth covered the area.

Well, i understand that he dun really like to sleep in his cage. But we have no choice, if we left him somewhere in the living hall..he will climb and scratch the tables / sofas / chairs etc. It only creates anger the next day where you found out your beloved decor in the house.. either break or with scratches around.

Day 3: 'Niu' Year

Went to Aileen's place for dinner. Hmm gonna gain weight soon after having good food for few days. Love the 'Mee Suah' & cheese cake made by her mom! The best thing of it, da first time in my life i request to have more cheese cake on da plate. I consider its a good day for me as i get to catch up with Ben, the x-Mixologist from the company i work with. Kinda miss the cocktail he used to made. Even, just a sip...u will feel the difference! Lol! we had a great conversation bout everything..even certain conversation bout 'MILF' which reminds me of American Pie movie. About Ben,..he is still single :) Girls out there..grab him before its too late.

Later on, went to meet up with Sam @ The Curve who didn't see him for few years. We 'lost touch' after my Uni life. The thing that reminds him in the sudden during CNY is actually on da day i clean up my room.. Out of anything, i found a pic of me & him taken in 06..if i'm not mistaken the year. Well, i told myself not to anti-social, should call him up, at least say hi etc...

And we meet up again. It's really fun hanging out with him & his colleagues..At first, we went to Santuary which is a club, less than 1o minutes, we change location to 'The Apartment' for beers.

Out of anything, Sam suggest 'sing k' @ Red Box & we go for it! I can't imagine from 1am we sing until 5am until everyone is tired & sleepy. Had breakfast after that @ Mcd nearby. Thanks to Sam, I feel what's life again instead of locking myself in da'room. Well, i had to admit due to certain reason, i do stay away from everyone for quite sometime..At last, i 'm awake, i keep telling myself 'Mabel you have to move on, you can't stay like this forever...take it as *shit do happen sometimes'..

I finally feel, its great to have my life back again! YEA* I MOVE ON!

Day: 2 'Niu' Year

The Water Feature

Visit Aunt Serena place @ Desa Park City for dinner-steamboat yesterday. Love her place to the max! As usual in the tradition during CNY, the main dishes 'Yu Shang' is da first meal to be served. The interior of her place turn up to be main attraction with decors around, especially the area where the water feature with pebble stone at the gardens. It create a great ambience's during the night.

Really had a good time, when i get to meet all my family members gathering 'chit-chatting'. I get to realise is the word 'family' which plays an important role in my life. Without them, i'm nothing. The kindness & care they gave when i was young is the moment i will not forget. Dad & mum especially, this year i get to speak to them, understand each other better. For the past few years we seldom talk to each other, maybe due to misunderstanding or i should say sometimes i disagree with their taught & teaching method. But, since i speak to them recently..i realise they are the person who is more important than anyone else, no matter how..i should pay more attention to them. Well, its my mistake that previously i care too much in my love life & at the end, ended up * pain...suffer... Sucks all the way@!

Later on, I told myself to make changes in my life to b a better person. I'm glad that i manage to let go of the 'miserable feelings' bout my love life.

WOHOO!! *I MOVE ON!! without dwelling with the past!

Day: 1 'Niu' Year

Wake up early in the morning...Kinda feel slightly different from other day :) Today, is the 1st day of wishing everyone "Gong Hei Fatt Choy!" & automatically you will receive "Red packet" from those who are married. I receive a number of "Red packets" from family members who pay a visit to my place this morning. *Yea it's a good news for me & i'm lovin it!

New Year for Chinese :)

Well, as far as i know...Chinese New year is an elaborate event, which lasts 15 days. It is celebrated traditionally with family and friends.It is also known as the Chinese Lunar New Year.

Tonight is da'eve of the Auspicious day, here i did something for my fren, Suzy. Basically i just combine it due to timeline and it turn up to be e-banner :) At least the design contain the Ox image with some prosperous chinese kanji in it. Since she is good in adding animation for any webpage..she modify it to http://blog.tenji.com.my/wp-content/uploads/tenji-gold-ox.gif with some blinking effects in it :)

Here, i wish everyone especially Chinese 'Gong Xi Fa Chai'. Can't wait to collect more and more Angpow morro. At the moment i only receive the Red packets from my boss, Jack and a supplier for the company i work with.

Trying to imagine myself in 'Red' morro :) seems to be the culture in my family to wear anything as long as its red on the first day on CNY. What i understand bout the Auspicious day when i was young is "Wish everyone "Gong Hei Fatt Choi! wait until the elderly gave Ang Pow, keep it safe in my lovely handbag, Smile :) & the last word Thank you!" haha

Most of the time.. after few months looking into the mirror & reflect the same hairstyle u had everyday..i believe most of the girls will taught of changing the hairstyle, well either cut it short, curl, dye etc..

For me..'mirror, mirror on the wall, what should i go for next?'

The time line is always a year for me to change a new outlook..when the time come, my instinct will say ' Gosh! it's time Mabel!'...

End of year 07 from long straight hair to short with japanese perm in 08.

In 09....Straight with extension :) kinda similar style in 07.. maybe just a lil diff..

Anyway, i believe no matter what kind of hairstyle i had. The most important is the way i portray myself & stay confident in everything i do. (of course not too over laah!)

Drop by TwoMonkeys cafe last night...it's great to get some inspiration while i walk to the cafe. In the meantime, i'm helping my babe, Aileen for the interior design of the cafe. Now, it's temporary close for renovation since some carpentry work need to be fix. Hopefully everything turn out great. Saw Kamal in the place too!...well the first thing i ask is "where is my cupcakes?" hehe...He is 1 of  the chef for TwoMonkeys Satay Bar & Cafe. Kamal does cupcakes & muffin for freelance as well! I remember when i met him for the first time, i asked him bout "Pumpkin Soup". Well, my dad loves it & i'm trying to cook it for him. It's better to get some advise from Mr Chef yea :) Anyway, it's very nice of him for helping me to carry a crate of beers :) i should say Thanks a lot MrChef*

Another day to go :)......

I'm sick for few days but finally manage to consult a doc yest, well i'm advise to go for treatment to reduce coughs and flu..At the end, i choose to go for the treatment twice..once in the morning and the last treatment in the evening.

Well, since i feel slightly better...immediately i went to fix my hair after my last treatment. My hair is so fluffy until i really can't take it and decided to go for rebounding...at least now,i have a very smooth and shiny hair..feel so good whenever i touch it...Awww****i like the extension part at the bottom of my hair...it creates a 'v' shape at the back & even the hair i extended...feels like my natural hair.

The best part is...rebounding sounds like 'reborn'...
its A new year anyway....i shall wipe off all the bad parts.

A new year , A new look

Taught of changing my hairstyle... at the end went to a salon to get my hair done. Trial version of
rebounding hairstyle.. hmmm i guess is not bad at all.. decided to get it done before CNY..well, it gonna take at least 3-4 hours for the whole session.

Had a great company dinner last sat night @ Ti Chen Chinese Restaurant , Saujana resort
lots of dishes served :) The best one for me is da " Salmon Yu Shan", which is only available during CNY season.

Yesterday, sun night Barworks organize Staff partee @ bambo9..Its fun & exciting especially during the lucky draw session where most of them manage to get some Branded Item such as,
Armani Exchange Belt, Guess Bags & Watches, Camera, Handphone etc..

haha! well, i'm not the lucky one that night but its cool at least i had fun & can't wait to get my hair done this weekend :) since everyone comment i look good with this new look..lol!

yEa* kinda tiring here after helping out at Metropol grand launch...Suppose to hav a good sleep with sweet dreams in the dreamland. Well, out of sudden grandma woke me up from the dreamland and telling me Ocean is missing! In the blur mode, immediately i ran out from the house and search for Mr Ocean...calling "Ocean! Where arrhhee you? please come out baby?" repeating it a few times...until i heard 'miow? mioooww?' looking and bend down in the car porch area, flower pot area..keep looking around in the garden area....finally, the voice is getting closer and at last i found him in the drain! Thank GOD!* but once he saw me, he is like playing hide & seek again...trying to hide somewhere..but i caught him again! this time he can't run away coz i'm following him when he try to to go somewhere in the garden. After turning a few round in the garden he finally go home by himself...hmmm... Mr O know how to behave himself after he saw a long stick on my hand..

Haha..i'm too sleepy somehow, kinda in dreamland mode....trying to visit the dreamland again but this time i can't get into the dreamland....

hmm..another day passed, can't wait for the grand launch of Metropol-gourmet bar tomorrow @ Menara Hap Seng K,L. Well as usual i will be helping out at the registration area just like the grand launch of HQ9...Hav been busy the whole day to prepare guestlist from facebook & others..hopefully everything will go smoothly tomorrow. :)

At last, turn up to be medical leave... visit da doc and she gave me a jab for flu. Later on, visit the dentist to get my teeth fixed...cant do anything besides lying down on my bed...

Working life is pretty interesting, when i face the MAC OSX desktop with great impact of colours everyday. which is the greatest among all the comp in the company...looking forward to get a MAC OSX laptop for personal usage..May my wish  list come true! :)

Watch "Bedtime Stories" with a fren who i know for 5 years, Quan this evening. Well its great to catch up with him again...We alk bout work etc when we had Japo food in Curve and immediately rush for the movie. Quite nice to watch da movie which show about 'Hotel handyman Skeeter Bronson's (Adam Sandler) life is changed forever when the bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew start to mysteriously come true.' I like the part about Mr Gutsy - Guinea Pig..haha he is so adorable with his mesmerizing big eyes!

Today, at work I design an invitation card for Metropol- Gourmet Bar..inspired by MADMAN movies ads. Basically its to create awareness on the words "M" and as a designer, what i do sometimes is to meet the client requirement, no matter how it look like, sometimes i have no right to change coz i'm paid to work for them, what i do is i do my best to blend in their idea with mine :) for happy ending instead of defend n fight for what i suggest n stuff..

To make my day better, i had "I SCREAM" in Frames Cafe..It's not bad at all, with choco chip biscuit at the bottom, a scoop of vanilla ice cream top with fresh strawberry & choco sauce...

Thanks to the owner to the place, happens to be my fren, Xanthus as he gave extra strawberries to me...hmm yummy*

Time Machine

Just wondering, how good if i could turn back time? and if only time machine were exist?if yes, i will avoid certain things in life which will make my life better now..lots of things happened which is hard to describe...Sometimes i hate things that happen around me, its irritating and the worst case ever for me, things that i have 100% hope and courage in it turn out another way..far worst than i expected...i wish i can turn back time to change things another way out...but in reality..it will not happen..i have to tell myself "yea sh*T does happen"...

the hardest part is i still have to face him in da office....gosh! cant believe my personal life is suc*KS yet he appear in my working  life as well** DAmMN it**

Spend most of time watching dvds...rest and browse around the internet..well manage to get some inspiration about logos and cool layout..Yesterday at work, its cool when Zman ask me to watch "MADMAN" movies where there are some parts of the introduction idea he would like me to get some inspiration. Now its the time to create a logo for another outlets for Barworks International, owned by Barworks Consultant the company i worked with. The new outlet will be 'METROPOL-Gourmet Bar' located @ Menara Hup Seng in KL. 

This evening, i believe just a lil bit more of time, i can let it go...

Finally A new Year Begin :)

Festive season is over for 2008, soon Chinese New Year is around the corner...every chinese in da office start to apply for leave...luckily i have submitted mine last month..hopefully i will get a long holiday during CNY.. cant wait for the day as i 'm hoping to get lots of Angpow-red packets :)
